We use a combination of organic-based fertilizers, soil health products, and targeted weed control treatments designed to improve lawn health naturally over time. Many of the products we use are OMRI certified and selected specifically to support healthier soil and stronger turf without relying on heavy chemical programs.
Depending on the lawn and season, our applications may include ingredients such as corn gluten meal, humic acids, kelp blends, natural organic fertilizers, and iron-based weed control products. Our focus is not just on treating surface-level problems, but on building a thicker, healthier lawn from the soil up.

OMRI stands for the Organic Materials Review Institute, an independent organization that reviews products for use in organic production systems. Many of the products we use are OMRI certified because we believe homeowners deserve a more thoughtful and transparent approach to lawn care.

“Why We Use Mostly OMRI-Certified Products on Lawns”

Yes it does, but it works differently than traditional chemical programs. Instead of forcing quick results through synthetic inputs, organic lawn care focuses on improving soil health so your grass can grow thicker and stronger naturally.
As the soil improves, your lawn becomes better at holding moisture, accessing nutrients, and crowding out weeds on its own. You will still see improvements in color and weed control early on, but the bigger benefit is that your lawn continues to improve instead of becoming dependent on repeated treatments.

In some situations, yes.
Our primary approach is organic-based lawn care, and for most broadleaf weeds, we use an iron-based weed control product rather than traditional synthetic herbicides.
However, certain weeds, particularly grassy weeds such as crabgrass, dallisgrass, goosegrass, and nutsedge—do not respond effectively to iron-based treatments.
When necessary, we use targeted applications of conventional weed control products to address these specific issues. Rather than broadcast spraying the entire lawn, we apply treatments only where needed through spot applications to minimize overall chemical exposure while maintaining effective results.awn.

Traditional lawn care programs are designed to control problems quickly using synthetic herbicides and fertilizers. That approach can produce fast results, but it often creates a cycle where the lawn depends on ongoing chemical treatments.
Our program takes a different approach. We focus on building healthier soil and stronger grass so the lawn becomes more resilient over time. Instead of constantly reacting to problems, we are improving the conditions that prevent them in the first place.
-
Most lawns will show improvement within the first few visits, especially in color and overall appearance. Weed pressure also begins to decrease early as we actively treat existing weeds.
The bigger changes happen as the program continues. Over time, your grass becomes thicker and more consistent, which naturally reduces weeds and improves the overall quality of the lawn. The process is gradual, but the results are more stable and long-lasting.

Organic-based lawn care is designed to build long-term lawn health rather than create short-term cosmetic results that fade quickly. That said, most homeowners still notice visible improvements in color, density, and overall appearance within the first several visits.
The biggest difference is that our program focuses on improving the lawn itself over time. As soil health and turf density improve, your lawn becomes more resilient, naturally stronger, and less dependent on repeated chemical intervention.

Our program avoids the use of harsh synthetic pesticides and herbicides, which is the primary concern for most families. We focus on natural treatments and soil-based inputs that are widely used in organic lawn care.
While no lawn product should ever be handled carelessly, our approach is designed to create a lawn environment that is significantly safer for kids and pets compared to traditional chemical programs.

We are able to control and eliminate most common lawn weeds using organic treatments. In our area, that includes weeds like dandelion, plantain, and clover. You should expect to see a noticeable reduction in these types of weeds early in the program.
There are some weeds that are more aggressive or deeply established that are very difficult to fully eliminate without chemical intervention. In those cases, we can talk through options, including a one-time targeted treatment to reset the lawn and give us a cleaner starting point. From there, our organic program is designed to help prevent those weeds from returning.
Every lawn is different, but our goal is always the same. Reduce current weed pressure, improve the health of your lawn, and make weeds less of an issue over time.

In most cases, yes. Organic lawn care is typically more expensive than traditional chemical programs.
The main reason is the materials. Synthetic chemicals are generally cheaper to produce, while organic inputs require more complex sourcing and processing. It is similar to how organically grown food often costs a bit more than conventional options.
That said, many homeowners choose organic lawn care because they value what comes with it. A safer lawn for their kids and pets, less exposure to harsh chemicals, and a more natural approach to building long-term lawn health.
For those reasons, most of our customers find that the difference in price is well worth it.

Proper watering, mowing, and seasonal lawn practices all play an important role in achieving the best results. We typically recommend mowing taller, watering deeply when needed, and avoiding practices that place unnecessary stress on the lawn.
Healthy lawns are built through a combination of proper lawn care habits and a strong soil foundation. Our program is designed to work alongside good mowing and watering practices to help your lawn become thicker, healthier, and more resilient over time.

Our lawn care program typically consists of 5 to 6 visits throughout the year. Each visit is designed to address what your lawn needs at that time of the season, including weed control, lawn nutrition, and soil improvement.
We also tailor the program based on your lawn’s current condition and your goals. Some lawns may need more focus on weed control early on, while others may benefit more from strengthening soil and improving density.
In addition to lawn care, we can also provide services for trees, shrubs, and landscape beds to help maintain a healthy and consistent look across your entire property.

No. We do not require long-term contracts. Our goal is to provide consistent results and earn your business through the quality of our work, not through obligations.

The first step is to schedule a free lawn evaluation. We will take a look at your lawn, talk through your goals, and explain what you can expect from our program.
From there, we can recommend the best approach based on your lawn’s current condition and the time of year.
